PLANNED GIVING FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ESTATE GIFTS
When is the right time to complete, sign, and share this Estate Gift Confirmation Form with BlinkNow Foundation?
BlinkNow invites supporters to share this completed and signed form at any time after executing estate plans, or updating estate plans, that include a gift to BlinkNow Foundation.
I have included a gift to BlinkNow Foundation in my will, trust, or as the beneficiary of a retirement account. Why should I share a snapshot of those plans with BlinkNow?
Sharing a snapshot of your plans helps BlinkNow plan thoughtfully for the future and gives our team the opportunity to understand and honor your intentions. Your generosity also helps inspire confidence in the long-term work of empowering children in Nepal through quality education, a safe environment, and a community of care.
BlinkNow Foundation is named to receive a percentage or share of my estate, which means that the value of my gift is constantly changing and could increase or decrease over time. Does BlinkNow still want me to provide an approximate, current value of my gift?
Yes. BlinkNow understands that the value of many estate gifts can and will change over time. We invite you to share an approximate current value so that we can plan responsibly and steward your future gift with care.
If I inform BlinkNow Foundation that I have included a gift in my estate plans, do I have the right to revise or revoke the gift at a later date?
Yes. Estate commitments are typically non-binding and subject to change or revocation at a donor’s sole discretion. If you make a change to your estate plans, we simply ask that you inform BlinkNow so that our records can be updated accordingly.
May I designate the use of my estate gift?
