What is the BlinkNow Leadership Development Program?
BlinkNow Leadership Development Program provides Mid-level and Senior-level professionals of different schools and non-profit organizations with expertise and strategic support to navigate various challenges. Through case studies, discussion, and practical experience combined with rigorous theoretical knowledge, the professionals strengthen their knowledge, skills and approaches in improving different aspects of their organizational leadership.
What is the duration of this program?
BlinkNow Leadership Development Program will be of 12 months, starting in December every year. It will start with a Summit in December followed by virtual learning sessions throughout the year ending in November the following year.
Is this program virtual or in-person?
BNLDP will be in two phases. The first phase, the BlinkNow Summit, will be a four day in-person immersive experience in Kopila Valley School, Surkhet, Nepal in December. The second phase will be two hours of virtual learning sessions every two months starting at the end of February. The third phase is a Closing Graduation Ceremony at the end, which could either be virtual or in-person.
Will the sessions be one-on-one or in groups?
The sessions during the Summit and the Virtual Learning Sessions will be in groups. However, the facilitators and the participants can mutually decide on one-on-one check-ins if required based on the need and availability.
What different topics can the participants participate in? Are there any choices to pick the courses from?
The participants can explore the following topics strengthening leadership across several core areas.
Strategic Leadership
Developing the skills needed to lead organizations with vision, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
Building practical strategies for growing support, mobilizing resources, and strengthening nonprofit impact.
Curriculum & Pedagogy (optional)
Exploring inclusive, student-centered educational practices that improve learning environments and outcomes.
Human Resource Management (optional)
Strengthening organizational culture, team development, and people-centered leadership practices.
Government & Community Partnerships (optional)
Learning collaborative approaches to building strong relationships with local governments and communities.

Is there any fee associated with the program?
There are no fees associated with the BN LDP. With generous support from Chelsea Nepal Network, the accommodation and meals during the in-person Summit is fully covered. The participants are required to take care of their travels. There will be a limited number of travel scholarships available based on the need, for which the applicants will be required to submit a scholarship application.
What are participants expected to do during the program?
The participants are expected to actively participate during the course of the program to make the most out of it. They are expected to regularly attend the sessions they have signed up for. 75% attendance for the virtual learning sessions is mandatory for graduation.
Who can apply for the Leadership Development Program?
Any non-profit or education professionals who have leadership experience and would like to navigate through some of their leadership challenges, or aspiring leaders who’d like to lead education or nonprofit organizations can apply. Previous participants of the program will not be eligible to apply.
