What’s Blooming at Kopila Valley?

As the last academic year ended and a new one began, we found ourselves reflecting on a season of hard work, growth, and quiet determination across all grade levels while resolving to do better this year.

Our Grade 12 students have successfully completed their final examinations, marking the end of an important chapter in their academic journey. Grade 11 students are now preparing to step into their examination period, carrying forward the same dedication and focus. Our SEE students (Grade 10) have also completed their board exams with everything they prepared for a year, while our BLE students (Grade 8) have done a truly remarkable job in their own board examinations. As the school came into a session break, we noticed that our students are BLOOMING.

But here’s a little secret…

That’s not the only thing in bloom.

Step onto our campus right now, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by a scene that is almost magical– soft petals unfolding, mangos getting bigger by the day, pomelo fruiting, and beautiful, ethereal, vibrant flowers greeting bees, butterfiles, and you too.

A sunny courtyard has a small tree in the middle, blooming with yellow flowers and surrounded by a hedge of green.

Right now, our campus is ALIVE. It’s growing, glowing, and becoming.

We’re fortunate to have an edible landscape that responds to each season in its own way. Just two months ago, our students were enjoying fresh mulberries straight from the trees. And now they get to admire the flowers and capture different species of butterflies and bees.

There are just so many benefits of having different kinds of flowers in bloom on our campus.

Flowers don’t just bloom for beauty, they call the bees. And the bees, in turn, bring life and pollination.

Did you know that we’ve started beekeeping?! We’re excited to teach our students about beekeeping and help them understand the important role bees play in our ecosystem.

Flowers -> bees -> fresh HONEYYYYYY to pair with our berries!

So far, it’s been a year of growth in academics, capacity for learning, and life skills. Along with flowers and plants that are blooming, our students are also blooming with passion for knowledge.

Thank you to everyone who roots for the future of the Kopila children every single day! They learn, they grow, and they BLOOM because of your partnership.
