Children's Village
Welcome to the Kopila Valley Children's Village
At BlinkNow, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment to thrive. That’s why we’re building the Kopila Valley Children’s Village—a thoughtfully designed, family-style community expansion of our campus in Surkhet, Nepal. This village will feature brand new living spaces to replace our original Children’s Home to meet the needs of our ever-growing family!
The Children’s Village will feature modular homes, caregiver living quarters, spaces for returning graduates, and a central hub for BlinkNow staff. Designed with sustainability and community at its core, this village will allow us to provide personalized care, stability, and a sense of belonging to every child and young adult who calls it home.

The BlinkNow Children’s Village is a newly designed expansion of our Kopila Valley campus. It will include a new Children’s Home, living quarters for caregivers and staff, and a multipurpose flex space to accommodate our continuously evolving, innovative programming.
As a family of nearly 90, we have outgrown our original home. In addition to the children in our care full-time, we have many young adults who return to the home for holidays, school breaks, and special occasions. The Children’s Home is not a temporary home for our Kopilas, it’s a forever home.
The new Children’s Village reflects our commitment to providing the best possible campus for our children and staff. As our organization and programs have grown, we recognized the need for our space to grow too. In addition to the home, the village will include living spaces for caregivers, housing for returning graduates, and centralized staff offices to support holistic care. This new design will also integrate sustainability through solar energy, water conservation, and eco-friendly construction.
In addition, the new Children’s Home is built using Compressed Stabilized Earth Bricks (CSEB), a proven earthquake-resistant and earth-friendly material. By integrating best practices for earthquake resistance into the design, we’re creating a safer environment that can withstand future disasters.
By building the Children’s Village, we are ensuring that BlinkNow’s children not only have a warm and welcoming place to call home but also one that is secure and resilient.
The village features modular homes for children, living spaces for caregivers, designated areas for returning graduates, and centralized staff offices. The design prioritizes community, sustainability, and long-term well-being.

Kopila Valley Children’s Village supports young adults as they transition into independence. The new village includes spaces for returning graduates, offering guidance and resources as they build their futures.
You can support the Children’s Village by making a donation or helping us spread the word! Every contribution helps create a brighter future for our children.
Contributions to the Children’s Village will be used directly to complete construction, and any amounts raised beyond that will support ongoing programs.
We welcome supporters to learn more about our work, but visits to the Children’s Village are limited to protect the privacy and well-being of our children. However, we will be sharing updates, photos, and stories to keep our community connected.
The village will provide local employment opportunities, utilize sustainable construction practices, and continue to foster community involvement in supporting our children’s growth and well-being. In addition, we trained women from our community in the making and use of CESB, providing them with new skills and equipment to build their own CSEB enterprise.
We are excited that this new construction is adjacent to other Kopila Valley programs, including Kopila Valley School!
A number of donors have contributed funds for this major project over the past two years, and now it’s YOUR turn. Can you join us?
