BlinkNow Co-Founder Maggie Doyne Champions “Love as a Strategy” at NEXUS Global Summit

NEW YORK, NY – June 9, 2026 – BlinkNow Foundation CEO and Co-founder Maggie Doyne shared her personal mission and the organization’s transformative story at the NEXUS Global Summit on May 14. During her address to social impact professionals, Doyne urged attendees to embrace a radical approach to global development: utilizing love as a strategy.
For nearly 20 years, Doyne, a New Jersey native, has lived and worked in far-western Nepal. Alongside Co-founder Tope Bahadur Malla and local community leaders, she has cultivated a comprehensive, sustainable model for community development. What began with simple school scholarships has blossomed into a thriving, award-winning ecosystem with a children’s home, an eco-friendly school, a health and wellness clinic, career counseling, family outreach programs, a women’s job training center, and a leadership development program for global leaders.
At the summit, Doyne encouraged the audience to reframe rejection and failure as essential markers guiding them toward their true paths. She challenged traditional American definitions of “success,” reflecting on her own pivotal decision to take a gap year instead of immediately attending college—a choice that profoundly altered her life path and uplifted thousands of lives in Nepal.
Doyne’s deeply moving message resonated strongly with the crowd, drawing frequent applause and visible emotion. She concluded her remarks with a powerful summation of her life’s work: “I believe in the ROI of love.”
