Load, aim, fire (B)

P and his handmade bubble

B AKA marble monopolizer king

We had a very much needed relaxing and laid back weekend.   This involved watching Shrek 1, 2 AND 3 (awesome!) blowing bubbles, and playing a whole lot of marbles which in my opinion is the kid version of gambling.  You wouldn't believe how intense a marble tournament can be.  Actually, now that I think of it, I would say that every major fight we've ever had in this house has been over marbles.  The children don't even come running when we call them for lunch or dinner and if you know these kids you know THAT is saying a lot.  I woke up sleeping on two marbles this morning.  I just LOVE finding them laying around and redistributing them to the underdogs.

We also said a sad goodbye to our musician friend Tim who is heading back to Australia.  We will miss him very much and hope that by some stroke of luck one of his band's next tours is in Nepal.

p.s. And S is better and back to his goofball self as you can see below!  (fewwwf!)

p.p.s.  I did an interview on the amazing Carla Kay White's blog this week if you want to have a look.  Carla and her partner Colin are also Beninda's new sponsors and friends.  Thank you both for your generosity and thank you Carla for sharing my story.

This is what he does when you try to take a picture of him.
