At first glance, it would be impossible to tell that this year’s Kopila Cup was only the second in Kopila history! Next to the bar and peepal trees that provide refuge from the hot summer sun to dozens of people every day, sits the large field that hosted this year’s events. Everyday hundreds of people gathered to watch the day’s games, one in the morning and two in the evening. The tournament consisted of 20 boys teams from 19 different schools, and five girls teams from five different schools.

TRI FOR KOPILA 2018 WAS A HUUUUGE SUCCESS! As a team, we have raised over $26,000 to furnish the classrooms at Kopila Valley's new rammed earth school campus. That brings us to a 5 year total of almost $100,000 for BlinkNow... what a team we have!

Exciting news! Two of our Kopila girls were selected to play soccer for the under-18 South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) football match, to be held in September. Our girls are playing for the nation!! Hooray!!!

We had a huge soccer tournament with all of the schools in Surkhet on our community playground last week. Every day, hundreds of people from the community turned up around the soccer field to cheer on the athletes.
