I visited some really sweet kids at Randolph Elementary School yesterday. The class was doing a unit on Nepal and I watched as hand after hand shot up enthusiastically with better questions than I get with even my most sophisticated adult audiences. We chatted about Nepalese food and religion and sports and culture and the Himalayas. Then we all got up to do some Nepali dancing and laughed... a lot. When our time was up the entire class asked if they could stay for their lunch period. I was so flattered that they'd be willing to give up lunch for me and even more flattered when a cute little kid named C asked for my autograph.

The latest email from my sister Libby in Nepal included news of our sweet baby boy starting to get up and dance during Satsung. I wrote back begging her to take the flip cam out of my room to capture his moves. When I left he was just getting his walking down so to think of him dancing in the middle of a circle of 40 kids practically melts me. He has come so far from that screaming sleepless baby to a dancing toddler well on his way to turning 18 months!!!
