The Aunties Hold Up Half The Sky

Monday, January 13, 2014

Meet the amazing Kopila Aunties. They do so much of the grunt work around here and they are always smiling, laughing, and joking around. (Even at six in the morning). They make the best lemon ginger tea when we're sick, the best lentil soup, and they always seem to be there at the right moment when you need help with absolutely anything. Tantrums, they are there.  Bathtime, they are there. The Garden, the laundry, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 400+... done and done. They love the kids to their core and I know the kids love them too.  It takes a village.  You always ask me how I do it?  This is how.  I couldn't do it without these women.  I couldn't do it without them. I mean, I REALLY couldn't do it without them.
