First Annual Xmas

All my family is home here in Kopila. We got in this evening after a longgg drive. There were lots of hugs and kisses and shrieks of joy as my mom and Lib jumped out of the jeep in the driveway. Bauju made us her famous chicken soup with rice for dinner. Then we sang songs by the fire and ate oranges. Now Mom and Libby are unpacking their bags upstairs and the kids are all watching Tom and Jerry for their Friday night T.V. watching bash. It's actually beginning to feel like the holidays to me. It's the weekend too and I just told everyone my goal is to sleep in til 9 a.m. tomorrow. Then we're taking a shot at making a tree and picking names for our first annual secret Santa. I'll let you know how it goes but for now, I'm in bed ready to crash. It feels good to be home again and even better to have my mom and dad and sister all here together for the first time.
